What is SEO, and what do SEO services include?
SEO, or search engine optimization, is the work of making a website easy to find in Google. SEO services cover three things: that the site is technically in order, that the content answers what people search for, and that others have reason to trust it.
The same things affect whether AI search such as ChatGPT and Gemini uses the site as a source. That part is often called AEO.
What is the difference between technical SEO and ongoing SEO?
Technical SEO is the foundation: structure, speed, indexing, schema and sitemap. We build it into every package when we make the website, at no extra cost.
Ongoing SEO is the work that comes afterward, with new pages, articles, local pages, links and follow-up on the numbers. That is the Synlighelt™ Superpower, where Herman does the work and you approve it.
What do your SEO services cost?
Technical SEO and AEO are included in the price of the website, which starts at $1,000. Ongoing SEO in Synlighelt™ costs from $3,000 per month. All prices are excl. tax.

Why can't we buy only SEO from you?
Because the SEO work builds on the website, and we want to stand behind the foundation it is built on. That is why Synlighelt™ is only sold to customers who have their website or a growth package with us.
Herman puts the changes straight into WordPress once you have approved them, and we only do that on sites we know. If you have a website we didn't build, the way in is a new website or a growth package.
How long does it take before SEO delivers results?
It depends on the competition for the searches and where your site stands today, so we promise no timelines. SEO builds up over time, and some searches are much harder to win than others.
What we can promise is that you see what is happening. Herman measures every change after 28, 56 and 90 days, adjusted for the rest of the website, and suggests undoing what didn't work.
Can you guarantee we will rank first in Google?
No. Google decides the order of the search results, and anyone who promises a specific position is promising something they don't control.

Does SEO also help in ChatGPT and AI Overviews?
Yes, to a large extent. AI search draws much of its answers from websites, and pages that are technically in order and answer clearly are easier to use as a source.
What is needed on top for AI answers is called AEO: short, direct answers, clear questions and answers, structured data, and your business described the same way everywhere. AEO is included in all our packages when we build the website.
Do we need SEO if we already have Google Ads?
Often yes, because they do different jobs. Ads bring visits as long as you pay for the clicks, and stop when the budget stops. SEO takes longer, but the pages stay in place and can bring in visits without you paying per click.
